Placenta Medicine Fee
$250 to process placenta into capsules, tincture or both.
The fee for Mandala Midwifery planned homebirth clients is 5% of your Birth Services Fee, but no more than $250 and no less than $150.
Payment is due at the initial exchange of the placenta.
Please fill out and send in this Waiver to inform Mandala Midwifery that you are interested in placenta processing. It is required before exchanging the placenta.
Follow the instructions on the "Care" page for how to handle the placenta after the birth.
It is expected, though not across the board, that clients, or better yet family/friend helpers, will drop off and pick up the placenta at the Oakland address found in the "Contact" page.
It is optimal to begin the processing within 48 hours after birth. Thus, please make a call to the office before or just after your first sleep with times you are available to chat.
