Mandala Midwifery is a Birth Service and Well Woman Care midwifery practice based on the Midwifery Model of Care that offers primary care to women during pregnancy and the childbearing stages of life (menarche to menopause).
Mandala Midwifery’s goal is to have well-versed practitioners who contain deep knowledge of human mechanisms and its interactions within the universe and to look at an individual’s life in a holistic manner. This knowledge is constantly growing and changing.

The goal of Mandala Midwifery is to know our clients. We do our best to know the status of our clients health physically, emotionally, and spiritually to assess their well-being and to lend supoort to lead to a healthy, joyful life. We have found the best way for us to care for our clients is to have an ongoing relationship.
We believe personalized, client centered healthcare is a basic human right and strive to partner with our clients in making informed healthcare choices that are appropriate for them. We serve families of ALL backgrounds, incomes, genders and sexual orientations. We are committed to making midwifery care available to more women and their families, especially women of color, single mothers, and low income families.
Mandala Midwifery is deeply indebted to facilitating community, especially amongst mamas with little ones or expecting little ones - because we are ALL in such need! Opportunities for meeting others is certainly a piece of what comes along with working with Mandala Midwifery.

Awakenings has been committed to providing holisitic care to clients since 1995 and is philosophically in-line with Mandala Midwifery. They excel at differentiating between normal, variations on normal, and true high risk. They take the Art of Midwifery to its highest place of honor.

The Bay Area Homebirth Collective - East Bay Chapter is a group of individual midwifery practices dedicated to promoting the ancient and modern art and science of midwifery and homebirth care. Our group is committed to using the collective power of our diverse practice styles and geographic locations to provide families with classes, support groups, social gatherings and informative talks and panels throughout the year.
